Buenos Aires, January 13 (NA) -- The Alejandro Posadas Hospital, located in the town of El Palomar in the western conurbation, has renewed its institutional strengthening process through a plan for construction works and technological renewal aimed at improving key areas. The interventions, carried out with its own funds, aim to optimize patient care and strengthen working conditions for staff by upgrading strategic spaces and incorporating medical equipment. Within the infrastructure reform plan, the new Mammography Room, the Serial Radiography Room, and the launch of a new space stand out, which includes an inpatient ward and a day hospital for the care of adolescents and young adults with cancer, along with multiple interventions in assistance, diagnostic, and support areas, such as reforms in the Mental Health emergency room, the Obstetric Center, and the area for Acute Lower Respiratory Infections. These improvements are added to work in offices and common areas that allow for the organization of care circuits and improvement of working conditions. Among the main acquisitions, a mammograph and a serial radiograph stand out, a technology that also promotes prevention by contributing to more timely treatments. Likewise, and as learned by the Argentine News agency, ultrasound machines, respirators, defibrillators, holters, and MAPA (Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring) devices were incorporated, equipment that directly impacts diagnostic precision and the quality of care. Additionally, and for this year, authorities plan the creation of a Transplant Unit, a Research Center, new operating rooms, and a new Hemotherapy sector. In line with this, a new sector for Blood Donation began operating, allowing for an expansion of the operational capacity of that service. In parallel, the hospital incorporated essential equipment to strengthen its diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities.
